Car Video Monitors Review

Overhead Car Video Monitors: Overhead monitors are exactly what their name implies. You can attach an overhead monitor to the ceiling of your vehicle. Typically they are installed in larger vehicles such as minivans and sport utility vehicles since they require a good amount of headroom for the overhead installation. An overhead car video monitor often fits over your vehicles overhead lighting unit. A typical overhead monitor is 7 - 10 inches, but you can buy monitors as large as 20 inches.

Flip Down Car Video Monitors: A flip down monitor is basically an overhead monitor that flips down for viewing. When the monitor is not being viewed it can be flipped up to add more overhead space to the vehicle. This type of monitor is also popular with consumers that own cars, who want an overhead car video monitor for their back seat passengers. Flip down monitors come in the same sizes as overhead monitors.

In-Dash Car Video Monitors: In-dash car video monitors provide video entertainment to the often-neglected front seat passenger (and driver, although I dont recommend viewing the in-dash monitor while you are driving). An in-dash monitor is usually one component of a larger unit that includes a TV tuner and receiver. Most in-dash monitors flip up from the unit when being viewed and flip back down to provide more front seat space when it is not being used. These monitors are usually 7 inches or less.

Headrest Car Video Monitors: Headrest monitors can either be mounted to the back of your vehicles headrest or mounted into your headrest with the use of a mounting bracket and mounting kit. There are even headrest replacement monitors that are designed to replace your vehicles original headrest. This allows the consumer to avoid cutting into the original headrest. When you sell or get rid of your vehicle you can replace the headrest monitors with the original headrests. Headrest monitors can be used in conjunction with or as a replacement to an overhead monitor. They are especially popular with car owners, since cars typically do not provide the necessary overhead space for overhead monitors. Headrest monitors are also generally 7 inches or less.

Sun Visor Car Video Monitors: Sun visor monitors can either be mounted into your vehicles current sun visor or purchased as a replacement to your original sun visor. Manufacturers of sun visor replacement monitors have designed the visors in many different colors and textures to match your vehicles interior as closely as possible. A typical sun visor monitor is 5 inches in length although they make them as large as 7 inches.

Mirror Car Video Monitors: Mirror car video monitors are LCD displays that are designed to fit over the existing rear-view mirror in your vehicle. Besides being used as a traditional video monitor, mirror monitors are also great for rear view cameras as well. This is the smallest type of monitor available for your vehicle and is generally no more than 4 inches long.

Water4Gas System Review

You are presented with an option to view the content of:
Book 1, which is the actual User Manual and explains step-by-step how to construct the Water4Gas kit
Book 2, which has additional information related to increasing gas mileage etc
Bonuses - too many to list, but there are tax guides, heaps of other stuff

So… Book 1 is about how to make a Water4Gas Kit. It contains 27 Chapters.

Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4 are basically introductions and are dedicated to thanks to the contributors and general information and background of the Water4Gas technology. There were a couple of interesting things - it turns out BMW has a water-powered car!

Chapter 5 will tell you exactly what you need to make your Water4Gas Kit. I was pleasantly surprised - looks like the necessary parts can be bought for about $100 bucks. I can’t give you exact components, but some of them are a special jar for the vaporizer, tubing and the catalyst component. There are some others, about 12 in total.

Looks like all the components can be bought in the stores near my house. Good

Moving on… Chapter 6 explains the benefits that you will realize once you install the Water4Gas kit. Saving an average of 35% on an average person’s bill results in roughly $1,200 per annum average savings, so the investment into Water4Gas kit is recouped in about 4 months.

Chapter 7 - teaches you to install the electrolyzer, the critical part that actually produces hydrogen and cools down the engine. It covers all the mechanical details, how to connect it properly and necessary safety measures. This looks like the critical part.

Chapter 8 is about the installation of the Water4Gas vaporizer. It seems that vaporizer is not as difficult as the electrolyzer. One medium size jar of water should last around 1000-3000 miles depending on the car make.

Chapter 9 will show you an alternative setup - instead of using one hydrolizer, you have an option of installing multiple ones. Apparently, Ozzie had a system going with 6 hydrolizers. The benefit was an 18% increase in mileage.

Chapters 10 and 11 - will show how to install and maintain the PCV Enhancer, which basically is the modification of the one that already exists in your car.

Chapter 12 explains how to install the Water4Gas fuel heater - key take from this is not to use the everyday hose for it, but rather a specialized heavy duty connector.

Chapter 13 covers the installation of a MAP sensor enhancer and an oxygen sensor enhancer, and contains pretty good instructions on how to do that.

Chapter 14 is another critical piece, installation of the water charger. It’s a proprietory formula and I don’t think I can say too much about it, but it’s awesome, and it will give your mileage a real boost!

Remote starters and car alarms should never be used in enclosed areas where the fumes could be toxic. Proper ventilation is a must. Starting a car remotely is a big responsibility for the car owner, and all appropriate measures should be taken to avoid accidentally starting the ignition. All car doors must be closed and a carbon monoxide detector is an important tool to avoid terrible mistakes. It is a tool that can have great benefits for automotive protection and comfort, but it must be undertaken with full understanding of applicable risks and a sober determination to operate responsibly.

The remote starter components of car alarms are great tools to have, but they are not easy to install. The installation of remote starters in car alarms should not be undertaken by an amateur, as specific knowledge of tools and materials, wiring diagrams and a good understanding of motor vehicle security are all required to make the installation effective. One should never attempt this without knowledge of relays and diodes and other intricacies of dealing with remote starters and car alarms.

It really is necessary to have the expertise and understanding, along with a fair amount of confidence, to take on this installation. Additionally, youll need to be sure to have safety goggles, meter, wire strippers, crimpers, flashlight and other vital tools. And, be sure to prepare your mind by reviewing all relevant manuals to fully brief yourself, paying careful attention to the wiring diagrams to avoid the vehicles SRS or Air-Bag Circuits. Identify and install in the systems main control unit instead of under the cars hood for optimum performance.

A thorough understanding of automotive wiring is essential for successful installation, including the ability to find the right wire, properly ground and place it and test for success. Be sure to check and double check to ensure that the whole system is still functioning as expected when the installation is complete in order to have a fully optimized car alarm installation.
